Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)

CCR&R is a statewide program that helps families find quality child care. The staff fields phone calls and internet inquiries from parents. Once we know the child’s age, personality, special needs, and the general vicinity the parents are looking in, we can give them a list of child care centers and homes to research. We also give parents a checklist to use when visiting a child care center or home. Legally, we cannot personally recommend any child care center or home.

Child care providers working with infants and toddlers receive comprehensive professional development opportunities and on-site technical assistance at no cost to them. Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)
Parents can get referrals to child care centers, preschools, homes and after school programs by calling 1-800-308-9000 or clicking on www.azchildcare.org. This program educates parents about selecting appropriate child care. Training for child care providers is also offered.
