Being a parent presents special challenges and joys to all parents. Unfortunately some parents are faced with even harder challenges such as having a child with developmental disabilities, living in poverty, or not being able to provide basic needs for their children. For some parents, their past is so painful that they hide behind walls of substance abuse and family violence. These families can benefit from home-based support services to move past these circumstances, learn new coping and parenting skills, and change generation patterns of abuse and neglect.

Child & Family Resources provides a vast array of services for parents. Most of our programs are offered at no cost to the families. Research shows resilient families lead to a decrease in abuse and an increase in healthy child development and self-sufficiency. We help build those strong families, thus creating thriving communities.
