Arizona Early Intervention Program

AzEIP provides in home assessment, evaluation, and ongoing services to families with children birth to three, who have developmental delays and/or disabilities. Services are provided throughout Yuma County.
Parent Awareness Program
300 to be served
Provides services to expectant families and parenting families with children 0-5 years of age, through community education or in home services. Families learn how to provide quality learning environments within their own home, culture, family structure, and community that impacts their child’s overall development. Families learn about community resources and how to implement a language and literacy rich environment for their children. There is strong emphasis on Brain Development.
Choices for Teen Parents
100 clients served annually
The program provides a continuum of services both in the home and in facility, individually and in groups including, ongoing case management, group parenting and life skills instruction, and parent/child activity groups. The program is designed to provide much needed support and guidance to young parents ages 21 years of age and younger who are either pregnant or parenting children ages 0-5 in Yuma County. |
