What do the children do while in the Happy Hours program?
Our professional staff tailors its program to meet the individual needs of the children and the different group dynamics within each site. The children play games, work puzzles, read books, engage in outdoor activities, do arts and crafts, do homework and have guest speakers on a regular basis. A nutritional snack is provided each afternoon.

How can I enroll my child?
To enroll your child, contact the Center Director in your school cafeteria during program hours or contact our main office at 881-8940. You must fill out all registration materials completely. The Department of Health Services licenses Happy Hours School Age Programs and requires a record of medical information and contact information for each child enrolled in our program. This information is recorded on the “Blue Card”. Please be prepared with the following information when you register your child:

  1. Name of doctor, address and phone number (if your child does not have a primary care physician, please indicate this by writing “Doctor on call in emergency room at __________hospital” and include the hospital address and phone number)
  2. Name of hospital, address and phone number
  3. At LEAST two emergency contacts. These emergency contacts must have different addresses and phone numbers and cannot be living with the parent.
  4. A copy of the child’s immunization record
