Arizona Infant/Toddler Institute
Infant/toddler caregivers receive free, comprehensive training with on-site technical assistance. The training is based on a nationally recognized curriculum. Participants can receive credit hours and financial incentives for their attendance. Call 1-877-733-1270.

Child and Adult Care Food Program
Family childcare providers are reimbursed for nutritious meals served to young children in their care. Nutrition training is provided annually. Call 1-800-941-3088.

DES Child Care Home Recruitment
This program offers training, technical assistance and professional development for people wanting to become certified child care providers in a home setting for DES. A variety of developmentally appropriate toys and equipment are delivered to providers from the DES Toy Lending Library. Call 1-888-792-6301.

Child Care Resource & Referral
Parents can call l-800-308-9000 for referrals to childcare centers, preschools and homes, including after school programs. Education is available to assist parents in selection of appropriate childcare. Training for childcare providers is also available.

Choices for Families
This community-based, multi-disciplinary collaboration offers in-home family support services and is designed to provide a continuum of services that promote positive parenting, enhance family functioning and assist families in maintaining self -sufficiency.

Family to Family
A free statewide training program, which enhances the skills of family child, care providers in the areas of child development, nutrition, and the business of family child care. Training also includes a self-study manual and CPR/first aid certification.

Kinship Care Program
Program works with grandparents who are caregivers to their grandchildren. The program provides case management, referrals to community resources and transitional support. There is a one-time transitional assistance to help cover the cost of additional beds and furniture and other necessary expenses related to transitioning the child into your home. A monthly stipend of $75 per child is also available for clothing, food and toiletries.

Healthy Families

This community-based home visitation program provides support services to expectant parents and families with newborns. Healthy Families is designed to help clients reduce stress, enhance family functioning, promote child development and positive parent-child interaction, and minimize the incidence of abuse and neglect. In-Home Services Program
This in-home service program provides family support, preservation and reunification to children and family members who have been referred by Child Protective Services. Program emphasis is on family stabilization and reunification.

Provider Education Program
Workshops and on-site technical assistance are available to childcare providers to meet the needs and challenges of their jobs. PEP offers help that is specifically designed to meet each provider’s needs.

S*CCEEDS
This statewide registry system encourages and tracks the professional and educational growth of individuals in the child care and early education
field. S*CCEEDS approved trainings count towards advancement through a childcare and early education Career Level system, recognized throughout Arizona. For information call 1-800-905-4389.
