Arizona Early Intervention Program
AzEIP offers early intervention to children from birth to three years of age who have, or are at risk for, developmental delays. This is achieved through the development and implementation of a comprehensive, coordinated, community-based service delivery system, which is family-focused, and culturally appropriate.

Child and Adult Care Food Program
Family childcare providers are reimbursed for nutritious meals served to young children in their care. Nutrition training is provided annually.

Child Care Home Recruitment
Family child care providers receive training, technical assistance and professional development from this program, which recruits and trains people to become certified child care providers in their own homes for the Arizona Department of Economic Security. Brochure

Choices for Teen Parents
Provides educational services, parenting and life skills training, case management, health services, job development/placement, referrals to community services, mentoring and parent support to teen parents in Yuma County. Services are provided in collaboration with Child & Family Resources, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Parents Anonymous, Yuma County Health Department, Yuma Private Industry Council and Yuma Union High School. Child Care Resource & Referral
Parents can call l-800-308-9000 for referrals to childcare centers, pre-schools and homes, including school age programs. Education is available to assist parents in selection of appropriate childcare. Training for childcare providers also available.

Independent Living Program
Assists foster children and former foster children, ages 13 to 21, in their transition to becoming responsible adults. Case management, life skills group training and other support services are provided.

In-Home Family Support
Provides in-home assistance to families referred by Child Protective Services. Families are offered parenting and life skills education, assistance in accessing community resources, crisis intervention and emotional support.

S*CCEEDS
This statewide registry system encourages and tracks the professional and educational growth of individuals in the childcare and early education field. S*CCEEDS approved trainings count towards advancement through a child care and early education Career Level system, recognized throughout the state of Arizona. For information call 1-800-905-4389.
